Combine the natural magic of camping with plenty of luxury at Gilestone Glamping. Buzzard is a spacious and superbly equipped canvas safari lodge for 6, with a kitchen area, en-suite bathroom, hot tub and proper beds. Gilestone Glamping is on a working farm is in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, within an easy stroll of Talybont, a village with no fewer than 3 pubs, a village shop, a river, canal and reservoir. It's a major hub for cyclists, runners and canoeists as well as families and groups who simply come to enjoy the magnificent Brecon Beacons.
Accommodation
Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms
Buzzard Lodge is luxurious and beautifuuly equipped. This glamping lodge has a large veranda with comfortable seating. It overlooks the fields, woodland and hills behind. In front of the tent is a fire pit, perfect for sitting around on a clear evening, and your own wood fired hot tub.
Step inside, to the open plan kitchen and sitting room. Cook up a feast - there is a gas fired hob, and the sink has piping hot water. There is also a wood burning stove which will keep you warm and snug whatever the weather. On a fine day, you can barbecue on the fire pit outside. There is a proper table and chairs, classy glass and cutlery, and comfy seating for real relaxation. You're definitely not slumming it here. Play cards, read a book or remember the lost art of conversation in the sofa and chairs around the fire.
Beds: The beds are super-comfortable, with Egyptian cotton linen and snug duvets. There's a double room, a twin and a cabin bed with a full-sized double mattress.
Bathroom: Ensuite to the lodge is your own self-contained "Pitch Pod" - which has a loo, hot shower and wash basin.
On the Farm
The owner, Charles, is happy for guests to roam the farm, and will provide tours by request. Children will love exploring and feeding the chickens. There's a fabulous wildlife pond in the next field on which guests can paddle around in the rowing boat, and even swim if they're brave enough.

Larger glamping groups can book Buzzard together with Goshawk and Dove, to sleep 16 in total. Very big groups can combine with Gilestone Farmhouse, to sleep 28 in total.
