Shancraig is a charming property located in the countryside of Mid Ulster in County Tyrone just 10 minutes from Cookstown. This holiday home is suitable for families or groups, with a comfortable, bright and airy interior and magnificent views of the surrounding rural landscape. The garden and sitting-out area at the rear of the house offer a haven of peace and tranquillity with the sounds of birds and wildlife from the fields.
The house is situated near the Craignamaddy Circuit walking route which leads through the Sperrins Mountains, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The route offers stunning views of Glenelly and the Owenkillew Valley, a scenic area with heather covered hills, peaceful valleys and a rich cultural heritage.
Local attractions include Drum Manor Forest Park, Tullyhogue Fort, Killymoon Golf Club, Beaghmore stone circles, Gortin Glen Forest Park, the Ulster American Folk Park museum, Hill of the O’Neill Dungannon, the stunning Giants Causeway and the beautiful north coast, all along the famous Causeway Coastal Route.
