Here you can catch a steam train to Aberystwyth on the scenic Vale of Rheidol Railway, or take a ride up the funicular railway to the top of Constitution Hill and indulge in the spectacular scenery on offer.
Also nearby is the picturesque and colourful harbour town of Aberaeron, offering a wide selection of traditional Welsh pubs, eclectic gift shops and highly acclaimed restaurants with freshly caught fish always on the menu. Beautiful New Quay is also within easy reach and is home to a tranquil harbour famed for spotting the resident bottlenose dolphins on a clear day, as well as being home to the famous late Welsh poet, Dylan Thomas, who resided in the village during the Second World War.
