Beautiful, golden sandy beaches, historic castles and magnificent mountain scenery draws visitors again and again to this glorious corner of Wales, which is also a paradise for walkers, bird watchers and families alike. Historic Caernarfon is within easy reach, home to the Welsh Highland Railway providing a spectacular narrow-gauge steam journey to Beddgelert and Porthmadog, along with its mighty Edward I castle. A myriad of exhilarating outdoor pursuits including zip wires, surfing, mountain biking and canoeing, as well as lively Pwllheli and fashionable Abersoch are all also within easy reach. Beach ½ mile.
