Those wishing to stay in Cromer will find a lovely wide sandy beach, an impressive pier with seasonal shows and an Edwardian seafront. Cromer also has a cinema, museum, a good mix of high street and boutique shops and numerous places to eat and drink. If you wish to explore a little further you will be spoilt for choice with a zoo, shire horse centre, seashell museum and fishing lakes. Not to mention karting, two excellent cliff top golf clubs and lots of coastal villages and towns with an array of beaches all within a 15-minute radius. Venture just a little further and explore the gateway to the Norfolk Broads where you can join an organised excursion or charter your own day boat and literally let the world float by. Or, visit the famous Thursford Collection with its Christmas Spectacular and Santa’s Magical Journey. Walkers will enjoy cliff top walks and the beautiful Sheringham Park. Cyclists will find lots of breathtaking routes and bird watchers will discover a variety of habitats including Cley Marshes, and after all that exploring, do make time to try Cromer’s most famous dish, the lovely fresh Cromer crab.
