Kitchen: With electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Wet room: With shower, toilet and heated towel rail.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed, 43" Freeview Smart TV and DVD player.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.. Gas central heating (underfloor in kitchen, wet room and bathroom), gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Courtyard with sitting-out area and garden furniture. On road parking. No smoking.. Brodie Cottage has been completely refurbished in 2018 to an exacting standard to provide a beautiful, cosy holiday cottage. This well furnished, end-terrace cottage has a dining area with a large gas wood burner in a feature fireplace, comfortable bedrooms and a modern bathroom. The private courtyard to the rear has outside lighting and is the perfect place for enjoying a drink whilst sitting under the stars! Aspatria is a small town in the north west of Cumbria, ideally situated for exploring the whole area, with the beach and mountains both within a short drive.
You may spend your week just exploring the stunning mountain and coastal scenery, or take a drive to Cockermouth only 15 minutes away by car, where you can meander through the streets perhaps visiting William Wordsworth’s birthplace. Cockermouth is also home to Jennings Brewery, where a tour explains the various processes involved in brewing traditional beer. The pretty market town of Keswick is also close by, and is one of the main centres of outdoor activities in the UK. Beach 6½ miles. Shop 350 yards, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
