On road parking. No smoking. Please note: There is a covered pond in the garden.. This great detached property is ideally located to explore all that south Wales has to offer. Situated in the village of Garnant, it is just 4 miles from the town of Ammanford, 10 miles from Llandeilo and 15 miles from the coastal city of Swansea, leading to the Gower peninsula. Good walks in the area, 200 yards to join the ‘Golwg yr Aman’ river valley walk/cycleway from Brynamman to Ammanford, and 700 yards into countryside of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The area is rich in natural wildlife and industrial heritage. There are plenty of sites to see and enjoy including the wooded Amman valley, the stunning views from ‘tro’r gwcw’ near Brynamman over to the local castle ‘Carreg Cennen’ to the north and the cascading water at Four Waterfalls Ystradfellte to the east. Or take a hike or a bike ride in Llyn Llech Owain Country Park to the west and roam the 158-acre park of woods, lakes and forest tracks. The more adventurous will also enjoy the rough mountain trails. For a great day out for the whole family, enjoy a trip to The National Show Caves Centre at Dan yr Ogof. After a busy day, return to Ty Draw to relax in the lovely enclosed garden to the rear of the property and watch the sun go down. Beach 20 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 700 yards.
