Nestled down a quiet country lane in the small hamlet village of Letterston, this detached, traditional Pembrokeshire longhouse has retained much of its original charm and character, making it a perfect central base for a family or group looking to discover the spectacular rugged Pembrokeshire coastline and Preseli Hills. Set on the owners’ working, organic farm, Meillion Cottage dates back to the 18th century and has been sympathetically restored to uncover its original features including stone walls and exposed beams, whilst lots of welcoming touches have been added, including a traditional wood-burning stove for those cosy nights in. Each room has been tastefully decorated to a very good standard and disabled facilities have been added to provide comfort and relaxation for everyone. There is underfloor heating throughout the whole property. Guests can enjoy the lawned garden area with furniture, perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring the nearby Preseli Hills with its picturesque walks and ancient monuments. Located just 5 miles away from the coast, the area abounds with fantastic walks along the iconic coastal path where guests can discover the charming villages of Solva and Porthgain, set within their tranquil fishing harbours and offering a collection of seafood restaurants and art galleries.
