With fantastic sea views across the English Channel, this property is a comfortable coastal retreat, ideal for couples who wish to enjoy a seaside break, near a bustling town with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. With two nearby bays, Foreland View is within easy reach of the award-winning Joss Bay and Viking Bay. Both of these beaches have won several awards and are considered to be amongst the best in Kent. Guests will have private access to steps (approximately 50) which lead down to the beach and a private decked courtyard, overlooking the channel, for those summer evenings.
For golfers, Foreland View is within easy reach of four popular golf courses, including St Augustine, which has hosted the Golf Open in the past. This property is also ideal for walking enthusiasts, with Thanet Coastal Path close by, the longest continuous stretch of chalk coastline in the country. The Viking Coastal Trail is a 27-mile walk, passing through Viking Bay, which is where the property is situated. Cycle the Viking Trail, surf at Joss Bay, enjoy the fireworks on summer evenings, as well as the Dickens Festival. Fishing can also be found nearby. There are good rail connections to London taking only an hour on the high speed line. Canterbury is a must when visiting Kent, home to its beautiful cathedral and dominant city walls, Canterbury has a lot to offer. Beach 300 yards. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
