Hen Bwthyn has been sympathetically restored to retain all of its character, boasting a large inglenook fireplace with baking oven and focal wood burner, ideal for those cosy evenings in. The spacious galley-style kitchen is complete with reclaimed slate work tops and flagstone floors, and the character continues to the bedroom with its beamed ceilings and original solid wood flooring. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing soak in your very own roll-top bath. This property really is teeming with character and charm.
Travelling west, the quaint, historic city of St Davids is within easy reach and is renowned for its magnificent, 12th-century cathedral and medieval ruins of Bishops Palace. Along the coast, stop off at Porthgain, Solva and Newgale, which all offer magnificent views, sandy beaches and a host of activities. For the more energetic, try your hand at surfing or kayaking, or for a slower pace, maybe try a spot of fishing. Travelling north, remember to stop off in Newport. Here you will find boutique shops, galleries and a host of restaurants specialising in organic, fresh, line caught fish. Golf available nearby. Beach 2½ miles. Shop 1½ mile, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
