The superb sandy beaches are perfect for families to enjoy an afternoon by the sea with fish and chips, or take a trip to the Captain Cook Museum for a fascinating insight into the life of the famous explorer. The pretty coastal villages of Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes are close by. For visitors who love the outdoors, the North York Moors National Park is just a short drive from the cottage and provides spectacular walking routes through the moorlands.
