Surrounded by the beautiful rolling green hillsides of the Wolds there is an extensive footpath network leading to quiet unspoilt villages, rural inns and the National cycle route is just 2 miles distant. Lincolnshire is a beautiful county with a sense of antiquity and boasts an unrivalled selection of locally produced foods.

Lincolnshire offers a paradise for antique lovers with Horncastle's many shops, Hemswell centre and International Fairs at both Newark and Lincoln. Lincoln itself is a joy to visit with mediaeval streets, world renowned cathedral and castle and a lively waterside area. Lincolnshire's coast is a combination of fabulous sandy beacheswith popular coastal resorts and wild shorelines with bird and seal sanctuaries. Wild seals can be seen on the beaches in November and December. In Grimsby the popular National Fishing Hertitage Museum is 12 miles, the Deep - undersea aquarium in Hull is 30 miles. The National Trust offers Gunby Hall, Tattershall Castle, Belton House and the beautiful Burghley. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is in Coningsby 30 miles away.
