Town: The name Tarbert, which means "isthmus" or "crossing place" in Gaelic, refers to the fact that it connects south Harris to north Harris and the Isle of Lewis. The Harris Hotel, the Pierhouse Café and Restaurant, and Island Bites are some of the dining establishments there. It is also home to a number of stores, including Harris Tweed & Knitwear. While you're here, stop by AD Munro and John Morrison to stock up on necessities for your wardrobe. The North Harris Eagle Observatory is nearby, and there are untamed beach walks, a variety of watersports, and fishing right outside Tarbert. Hebridean Ceramics, the Hebridean Design Company, and Clisham Arts and Crafts are just a few of the art studios and galleries that can be found in the Tarbert region.

Located in Harris, this vacation home is in a rural area. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Tràigh Sgarasta and Tràigh an Taoibh Thuath, while MacGillivray Centre and Finsbay Gallery are cultural highlights.
