Footsteps from amazing cafes, bars, top restaurants (The Ivy Clifton Brasserie, Wallfish, Shop 3 Bistro, Clifton Sausage, The Iconic Steakhouse and many more) and wonderful boutique shops.

Here's a detailed description of the home's features and facilities:

The Listed house dates back to the Georgian period and is located at the end of Portland Street, a no-through road right in the centre of Clifton Village but tucked away from the hustle and bustle of The Mall and Princess Victoria Street. It's really close to the Avon Gorge Hotel and The Rodney Hotel, and a short walk to the Victoria Square Best Western Hotel if you happen to have others staying at those places.

You enter the house through a hallway into the open plan dining/kitchen area which is furnished with a dining table and chairs. Great for eating -in or entertaining. The separate sitting room/lounge has two small sofas, and a coffee table. There are also some comfy bean bags.

The kitchen is open-plan to the dining room and comes fully equipped with all white goods including gas cooker and extractor hood, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer. There is ample worktop space. Kitchen comes “ready to cook" with pots, pans, microwave, kettle, toaster, utensils and everything you would expect in a kitchen.

The quaint “double-winder" staircase rises from ground floor to first floor where you find the first of two double bedrooms, with double bed, drawers, wardrobe and bedside tables. This room has an original stripped wood floor and sash window to front.

The spacious bathroom is located on the first floor, fitted with a contemporary white bathroom suite comprising bathtub with powerful thermostatic shower over the bath, basin, toilet, heated towel radiator and large mirror.

Up another flight of stairs to the second floor where there are two further bedrooms. To the front is the second of the two double bedrooms with a double bed, drawers, wardrobe, bedside tables and built-in cupboards. This room has a lovely original fireplace.

To the rear is the single bedroom with single bed, drawers, bedside table, another lovely original fireplace and sash window.

There is free broadband WiFi throughout.

We completely refurbished the house recently so everything is modern whilst retaining the period charm.

The house is very close (5 min walk) to two Zipcar rental cars which can be booked online cheaply via Zipcar if you want the freedom of your own vehicle while you're here. There is also a City Car Club car within a 5 minute walk.

We now have the world renowned Uber taxis in Bristol.

The townhouse is just a 3 min walk to the very frequent 8/9 bus service which stops at the Centre, Cabot Circus Shopping Mall and Bristol Temple Meads mainline railway station.

You can also 'Pay and Display' in many locations in Clifton Village for £1 per hour (up to 3 hours per stay) but please ensure you park in a 'Pay and Display' space if this is your intention. On Sundays you do not need any permit or pay and display ticket.

If you need to park additional cars the nearest free option is to park on Bridge Road - the other side of the Clifton Suspension Bridge - and walk (10 mins walk) or park on Ladies Mile (15 mins walk) after dropping off your luggage. Alternatively there is a multi-storey car park at The Triangle on Jacobs Wells Road which is quite reasonable.

Unfortunately we do not have any parking permits for our Townhouse.

Noise: There is a pub around the corner which will generate noise on Saturdays

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs due to the short change around time our cleaners have to prepare the property.

We are Hopewell and we are contactable by phone, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. From 5pm to 9pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 7pm the weekends.
