Gather the family around the dining table to tuck in before stepping outside to soak up the last of the sun in the private garden which has two decked areas and partial views of the sea plus a hot tub. Treestumps lies close to the centre of Benllech, visit local stores to help ease your self-catered stay or treat your loved ones to a delicious meal at Breeze Hill or Beachcomber Bar and Grill. On a sunny day, take a short walk to Traeth Benllech where you can soak up the sun on its golden sands while the kids splash around in the sea; no trip to the beach would be complete without ice cream! The adventurous among you can travel along the coast to Traeth Bychan to try your hand at watersports including sailing and jet skiing. Woven along the coast are ruins and castles including Lligwy Burial Chamber, Penmon Dovecot, Castell Aberlleiniog and Beaumaris Gaol, where you can immerse yourself in the island’s vibrant history. Stop in Beaumaris to visit its castle, a mediaeval stronghold or stroll along the pier to delight in truly memorable sea views, the town even runs boat tours to Puffin Island where you can marvel at local wildlife.
