Located in the pretty little town of Auchterarder, situated up a small pedestrian lane off the main street. Within a stroll to shops, pubs and restaurants. This cottage was originally built as a stable for the main house in 1850 and converted to a dwelling in 1925. The town of Auchterarder has a rich historic past. There is something for everyone to enjoy from golf, fishing, abseiling, canoeing to trekking. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy several interesting low level rambles or head for the more extreme challenges of the Ochil Range and enjoy the bewildering array of majestic scenery. Take a tour of one of the many whisky distilleries or visit many historic places of interest, Innverpeffray library and chapel museum dating back to 1680, Tulllibardine Chapel, Scone palace, Doune castle, Blair castle, Stirling castle and Wallace monument all within driving distance. The Bothy has an open plan living area, if you decide to stay in and cook a meal there is a well equipped kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, microwave and fridge. There is a washing machine in a cupboard at the top of the stairs. Enjoy your meal at the dining table, you don t even have to do the dishes as there is a dishwasher in the kitchen to do the work for you. Then you can snuggle up and relax in the lounge and watch Smart TV or use the DVD to watch a movie. Heading up from the lounge via stairs to the double bedroom with sloping ceilings and shower room with WC. Heading outside you will find a lovely little private terraced seating areas, one beside the front door and second one further up the path.
