These beautiful apartments are ideally located close to the sandy Fisherman’s Walk Beach, and from the top of the cliffs at the viewing area you can enjoy spectacular views across Poole Harbour to Hengistbury Head and the Isle of Wight.
Fishermans Walk Apartment 1 (ref UKC4070) is set on the ground floor and benefits from an enclosed courtyard, while Fishermans Walk Apartment 2 (ref UKC4071) is situated on the first floor. Both properties offer an open plan living space with a double sofa bed, two bedrooms and private parking.
This is an ideal base from which to explore the area. You can walk along the beach to Bournemouth town centre or take a short drive to the New Forest where ponies and cattle roam freely. Why not catch a boat to Brownsea Island, a National Trust site, where you can hope to glimpse a red squirrel or two? Head to Moors Valley Country Park for a variety of outdoor adventures including cycling and a treetop walkway. Nearby there is Highcliffe Castle, a Gothic mansion dating from 1836, or Kingston Lacy, a National Trust site with Japanese inspired gardens. In Poole you can wander along the harbour or head to Splashdown for a fun day out at a water park.
Further afield there are a range of things to see and do including Stonehenge, Monkey World, Abbotsbury Swannery and The Tank Museum. The famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast is worth a visit, and you may even be lucky enough to find some fossils. Corfe Castle and Swanage steam railway both make for a great day out. Durdle Door, Old Harry Rocks or the Isle of Portland are all worth a visit too. You certainly will not be short of fantastic activities during your stay in Southbourne. Beach 350 yards. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 350 yards.
